After Graduation Application Has Been Accepted

A few steps need to be completed after an application has been accepted to make sure the graduation process runs smoothly. Refer to the following steps which will assist you with a successful graduation:

  • Name Check: Contact the Registrar’s Office if you need to change your name (the name on your university records will appear on your diploma). Registrar's Office: 122 Michael Schwartz Center, Phone: 330-672-3131
  • Local Address and Phone Number Check: Make sure that your local address and phone number are accurate on university records. Web for Students may be utilized to make changes to address and phone numbers.

  • Diploma Mailing Address Check: Use Web for Students to designate where you would like your diploma mailed; otherwise it will automatically be mailed to your permanent address.

  • Check your KSU E-Mail Weekly: Occassionally, you will be contacted regarding graduation requirements which may require action. These notifications will be sent to your KSU e-mail address.

  • Attend "Imagine Graduation": Imagine Graduation is an information fair which will provide you with many of the important details necessary for graduation - a one-stop-shop for all your graduation needs. Once on the graduation list, an invitation will be sent via KSU email to inform you of Imagine Graduation dates.

  • Review Changes to Schedule: Should you need to make changes to the schedule of your final two semesters, review these changes with a Graduation Advisor.


Please contact a Graduation Advisor via email if you find it necessary to remove yourself from a graduation list. (This removal must be complete in order to register for next term’s classes). To move your graduation date to a future graduation, simply complete and submit a new application for that graduation date.
