Frequently Asked Questions
Do I have to study abroad to be in the World Citizens FIG?
- No. Study abroad is not required; however, it is strongly encouraged for students wishing to pursue a career with an International focus. Students will learn how to plan a study abroad experience to fit in with their academic plans. Students will also be able to meet with a Financial Aid counselor to help prepare for a study abroad trip financially.
What if I change my major, will these courses still count?
- In most cases, yes. US 10097 and ENG 11011 are required of all students at KSU. GEOG 17063 and POL 10500 are LER courses and can be used to satisfy the LER requirements of most majors. A&S 10095 is a one credit hour course that will be counted as elective hours.
What is the cost?
- There are no additional fees associated with this FIG.
